What is Bookish Buys & how is it different?
Bookish Buys is a indie book shop with three monthly book subscription box offerings. We have the Bully Me Book Crate, the Supernatural Book Crate, and the RomCom Book Crate. We exclusively feature and promote independently published authors and tailor the swag included to the participating authors.
What kind of books will I receive in my box?
The Bully Me Book Crate features dark, bully, mafia, and enemies-to-lovers reads.
The Supernatural Book Crate features fantasy and paranormal romance.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Bookish Buys ships worldwide. Our monthly book boxes include shipping in their price. Our merchandise international orders are charged based on size and weight.
If your order is being shipped to an APO/FPO location, please note there might be significant delays for your order to arrive depending on where you are located.
All prices are in USD. Foreign exchange, transaction fees and custom fees may apply to non-US customers and are the responsibility of the receiver.
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do not currently offer paypal but are working on adding this at a later date.
When will my Book Crate be mailed to me?
Bookish Buys book crates are shipped mid month in batches so, some subscribers may receive tracking notifications sooner than others. It always our goal to have all boxes shipped by the 20th of each month barring any delays related to COVID-19
When will my shop order ship?
We’re committed to shipping all merch orders within 5 business days but generally ship within 1-2 business days when possible.
Can I return my crate if I don’t like the books or already have them?
At this time, we are unable to process returns or exchanges. All Bookish Buys purchases, both subscription and shop orders, are non-refundable. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund.
My box is lost or my items were damaged in transit?
If you received damaged items or are missing any products, please email us at email@example.com within one week of delivery and we will help get your item replaced. Note: we do require proof of damage via photo so please include that in your initial email.
If your package is missing, we must be notified within two weeks of receiving your tracking information. If your tracking number shows as delivered, your box is illegible for a refund or replacement. We recommend filing a claim with USPS to locate you lost shipment.
If your package was returned to sender due to an error on our part, we will reship the items at no expense. If the package was returned to sender due to an error on your part, ie: incorrect address input at checkout, undeliverable due to dogs, ect, then we will reship your items but you will be responsible for shipping expenses prior to shipping. If you choose not to have the items resent, your order will be cancelled and refunded minus a $11 restock fee.
Can I cancel my subscriptions?
Yes. You may cancel at any time. You will still receive any pre-order boxes already paid for. Please be aware we do not offer refunds on pre-order products.
Can I cancel a pre-order shop purchase?
Pre-order purchases can only be cancelled and be eligible for a refund if done so within 24hrs hours after purchase. After 24hrs the order can no longer be canceled.
